Camp Copass Stories

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Copass. I miss it. It was a very spiritual and uplifting experience for me. Shout out to the camp and my church. 🙂

This was my son’s first camp experience. You set the bar high! He can’t wait to return and bring his cousin and friends! My son’s recap: Great staff, amazing fellowship, awesome pastor and praise/worship, good Bible studies, coolest activities, yummy food! THANK YOU Camp Copass!

I am still in awe of all God is doing in our students. We have multiple stories of how God is stirring in their hearts.

It was a great time of encouragement and learning for our young adults of some things to take back home and implement to better their marriages.

Holy spirit moving in our students. We love the sunrise every morning on the lake.

The space at Copass is so helpful at getting our students out into God’s creation while also providing a multitude of different activities for them to enjoy. It really helps our whole group disconnect and be present together for our retreat

This was my first year to be at camp compass and I will say it is most definitely NOT my last time!! I went there with hurt and troubled past and I learned that with these amazing people that I have and with the amazing speakers y’all had I made it past the hurt and troubled past. It’s crazy because when I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart it was through forgiveness and over time you forget and get all caught up in the hurt and pain you feel that you forget that the good Lord forgives you for everything! I am now going home with an open heart and mind knowing that I have amazing people watching over me and I have an amazing Lord that I serve!! Thank you camp compass staff, organizers, and everyone else that had to do with my life in the last week!

We love how beautiful the grounds are! There were three baptisms this past weekend in the beautiful lake!

Opportunity for our young adults to get away for a few hours and learn how to have a better marriage.

I went to Camp Copass as a weak Christian, and I came out as a strong believer in Jesus Christ. Camp Copass was truthfully the best week of my life. I met amazing life long friends and the food is top notch, too!

True worship. Watching kids not be ashamed and lifting their hands to God.

Camp Copass provided an environment conducive to spiritual growth! Our students want to come back! We had several students come to Christ at Camp Copass! We are eternally grateful!

We are always grateful for our time at Camp Copass. The Lord has been kind in giving us a place to have regular retreats and gatherings. The gatherings have proven to be strengthening and edifying for the body.

Our Sunday morning service was filled with several students giving their testimony of the weekend.

Your campground is a great place to be able to play both organized rec and free time. Thanks! We always love the campfire at the 3 crosses! S’mores by campfire are always a favorite!

It was a blessing for the new families that joined our church. Praying that the event will make them closer to God.

Several real moments where they understood what was being taught in Bible Study and also evening sessions. Kids were engaged by God.

Our campers look forward to returning every summer….lots of fun activities with emphasis on growing in their relationships with the LORD!! Thanks Camp Copass for being so organized and ready to serve the Lord making it an amazing time for our kiddos!!

The staff, all of them, take a genuine interest in caring and attending to not only the campers but the sponsors! God spoke to us all.
